Film review of "Now is good"

Hello readers I should mention that this is NOT a sponsored post. I watched this film last night as Brad received it as a Xmas gift from his Nanny and Grandad. It stars Dakota Fanning who is Brads favourite actress at the moment. I had to share my thoughts on this film as it is one of the best films I have seen for a while.

Now is good
Now is good is the story of a young lady who is dying of leukaemia. Tessa (Dakota Fanning) is just 17 years old and has a list of all the things she wants to do before she dies. Tessa ends up falling in love with her next door neighbour Adam (Jeremy Irvine). Adam makes the commitment to be with Tessa till the bitter end. This film is about falling in love for the first time, death and how it affects those left, and a young ladies desire to fulfil her dreams before it is to late. This film made me smile, cry, and think about life. It was thought provoking as well as entertaining. I would highly recommend watching this film if you get the chance.

Blurb from the DVD cover
Tessa is seventeen and passionate about life. Diagnosed with a terminal illness, she determines to use every moment, compiling a catalogue of what a normal teenager would experience, including losing her virginity and taking drugs. With the help of her friend Zoey, she sets the list in motion. While her family deals with fear and grief, each in their own way, Tessa explores a whole new world. Falling in love with Adam, her new neighbour, wasn't on the list, but it proves to be the most exhilarating experience of them all.

Here is the trailer for the film

If you get the chance to watch it please let me know what you thought of it.

Much Love
