To Blog Or Not To Blog That Is The Question

Well it's been months since my last post and I have to be honest I have been toying with the idea of just closing the blog down as I just can't seem to make the commitment to it I want. There has been a lot keeping me away over the last few months. I have been extremely unwell with a lung and chest infection that would not budge. After 2 months and 3 different lots of antibiotics I finally managed to get rid of it. That said after having blood tests it turns out I have a problem with my liver. One of the enzymes in my liver is dangerously high which would normally indicate the presence of gall stones however I had my gall bladder removed 12 years ago due to gall stones so it can not be that. My doctor is stumped as to what it could be all we know right now is something is wrong with my liver and it is causing a lot of pain in my stomach and back. The doctor has ordered an x-ray and an ultrasound to see if we cant get a better idea of what is going on in there. When you add to that my MD and the boys autism and then the challenges everyday life throws our way you can see why blogging has been the last thing on my mind over the last few months. I have noticed several of my favourite blogs have closed down or have not had posts for months which has left me wondering if this is a common problem a bit like writers block I guess. So do I stop writing or do I continue ? I don't have a huge amount of readers and the main reason I write this blog is for myself and for the boys to look back on when they are older so I will continue with the blog for now and see how we go.

A quick catch up other than all the health stuff we have not really been up to much. The usual knitting and reading from my sick bed and the occasional trip to the supermarket on a Sunday for yellow sticker reductions and little besides that. I have just finished reading A 50's housewife by Sheila Hardy which I found very interesting and I am half way through A 50's childhood which again I am finding very interesting (oh how I love my son's kindle).

As soon as I have something half interesting to blog about I will be back with my next post until then take care.

Much Love
